Runner Up Again on Energy Efficiency University Challenge 2010 Competition

Last week (9th & 10th Nov,2010), an Electrical Engineering of ITS Surabaya team, field of study Power System got a runner up on Energy Efficiency University Challenge 2010 Competition. It make the same with an event like last year, got Runner up too :-) .

This event was held by Schneider Electric Indonesia. If last year was held in Jakarta, this year was held in Surabaya, exactly in Petra Christian University. It's followed by 41 teams throughtout Indonesia. This event aims to educate students who will be the future engineers. To be more aware of energy efficiency solutions and sustainable practices that can help protect and preserve our planet. Evenmore we can help our future generation to become a responsible people that very aware with with their environment.


The final competition hold on 10 November 2010 in Petra Christian University. The first winner will get IDR 30.000.000, trophy, and will become finalist of Energy Efficiency University Challenge 2010 in South East asia level. The runner up will get IDR 20.000.000 and trophy. The 2nd runner up will get IDR 10.000.000 and trophy. The finalist are ATMA JAYA CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY, PENS-ITS, MARANATHA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, PETRA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, and my beloved campus, ITS Surabaya :-)

This competition seems repeat an event last year. The winner from PENS-ITS (Electrical Engineering Polytechnic ITS of Surabaya), and a runner up is ITS (Institut Technology Sepuluh Nopember) of Surabaya. Whereas the target of ITS is better than last year, be a winner. But no matter, although didn't be a winner I join in proud of because the achievement, minimal is same with last year.

ALthough I didn't act as a team, I proud of it too. Because, like an event last year I was be a man behind the scene :-) . Last year, an equipment of competition is web base. The people who did this job is me, like a last year. The difference is, if last year a web can connected to an equipment this year did not connect to equipment of Zelio product. But, the feature of it is a design of web is more beatiful than last year.

Once again, I say great :-) . I proud of it because I can be a part of this event. I hope next competition, the achievment is better and I still can join with it, although did not role as a member of team :-) . Congratulation!!
